Updates for Mac OS 10.7 and Higher (October 25, 2011) |

Instructions: |

1. Click the blue link to download the patch for your product.
2. Open the folder that was downloaded.
3. Copy the application icon that is in the folder to your desktop.
4. Insert your CD and click the icon on the desktop to start the program. |

DO NOT click on the blue links below if you have the new 2.0 versions of Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, or Algebra 2--the versions with a digital gradebook built-in. Doing so will cause your program to malfunction and force you to re-install. If you have any doubts about what to do, please call our office (see phone number below). |

QUICK NOTE to 10.8 USERS: After you download the patch, you may get a message that says "*math* cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." That means your security settings are too strong. |

To fix this:
- Click on the Apple (in the upper left corner) and then click on System Preferences
- On the top line (Personal) click on 'Security & Privacy'
- On the General tab click on the lock in the bottom left to make changes and enter the admin password.
- Next, under "Allow applications downloaded from:" select the option "Anywhere". A popup will come up. Select "Allow From Anywhere".
- Then click the lock at the bottom to lock the changes into place and close the settings.
- Now try the run the program using the patch.
- A popup will come up that says '"*math* is an application downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it?' Click 'Open'.
